Fenland Light Railway
The Fenland Light Railway is a 7 ¼ inch gauge Narrow Gauge Railway Operating Steam, Electric and Petrol locomotives.
We hold running days at our purpose built track as well as attending many local events with our portable track
A Brief Description !
We operate on an oval of track of approx. 300 yards long the majority of which is at sea level but dips below mean sea level in a few places. This is probably unique in the United Kingdom except if you visit a mine. Mereside Drove station is positioned by the verge side car park and entrance, opposite to this is Refreshment Halt approached by reversing into our terminus station where our refreshment room is located, here you can enjoy a nice cup of tea, coffee, or, a soft drink with a piece of real Homemade Cake

What Does It Cost ?
The Cost is £1.50 per personUnder 3′s are free with a paying adult.
This is for a return journey from Merside Drove station to Refreshment Halt and back to Mereside Drove, a total of 4 track circuits
